A tour of the interface
Meet Relackout's home screen, notification bell, bottom bar and Settings, and learn how the Back arrow gets you around.
Chapters
New to Relackout, or feeling lost between screens? This tour is for you. It maps the home screen’s four areas, the notification bell in the header, the bottom bar’s BPM Mode and workspace switcher, and how to reach Settings. We don’t go inside any one card here — each has its own page — this is just about knowing where everything lives.
Four areas, one glance
The home screen splits into four areas: the header (logo, title, status badge and bell), the left column (output status, with a Settings button below it), the card grid on the right, and a bottom bar fixed to the bottom edge. Everything else lives inside these four areas.
Header: System Ready and notifications
The header holds the Relackout logo, the System Ready badge and a notification bell that shows a count when there are unread announcements.
Open the Announcements window
The cards: one section per card
The grid on the right holds ten cards: LIVE CONTROL, Scenes, Cue Stacks, Fixture Control, Notes, Music Library, Designer, Sound Reactive, Show Timeline and Kalfa Packages. Hover over a card your plan doesn’t include and you’ll see Higher plan required. Each card gets its own dedicated page; this tour doesn’t open any of them.
Reading output status
Each output card on the left (Art-Net, USB DMX, sACN) shows one of four colors: green Connected, yellow Not connected, gray Off, red Error. Below that sit the Remote Access card and the Last output line.
Bottom bar: BPM Mode and the workspace switcher
A bar fixed to the bottom of the screen holds the tempo controls, with the workspace switcher at the far right.
Turn on BPM Mode
Open the workspace switcher
Pick another workspace (and back out)
-
What happens when you click another workspace in the list (for example Studio B) depends on whether output is running. If a scene, cue or live override is active, the Switch workspace? dialog opens first: Output will stop and the app will restart. Cancel keeps you in your current workspace. If nothing is running, there is no dialog: the switch happens right away and the app reloads. So switch workspaces while you prepare, not mid-show.

Getting around with Back
You can go deeper inside Settings; the Back arrow always takes you one screen back.
